Heirloom Portrait with Rachel Ezzo, Baton Rouge Fine Art Baby & Child Photographer

Here is something fun you can order now, without even having to come to my studio for!

Take a look at how I turned this cell phone photo of my son, into an heirloom print!

You can easily take this on your cell phone of your little ones and have an amazing, heirloom print in just a few weeks.

It looks like a water color painting in print.

You can choose to order yours with the torn edge, just matted or matted and framed.

I LOVE the look of it matted and framed. Perfect to hang all the kids images in a grouping on the wall or set on a bookshelf.

The steps are simple

  1. Place your little one against a flat unmarked wall. If you can't get your little one to hold still there, you can also take it while they are standing, looking at the TV. The outline of their face just needs to stand out, and not be against anything too close to their head. Don't panic if you take it and its not against the wall.

  2. Take a photo like I did above, on your cell phone - of their profile

  3. Email it over to me!

  4. Then I will work some photoshop magic and send to print!

TIPS:

  • The goal is to get a clear photo of the outline of their head/facial profile. The hair can get tricky, so making sure hair is groomed really helps. For boys you can even spray it with water to make sure its smooth.

  • Make sure hair is neatly brushed, and I would avoid bows on the girls hair for this. A pony tail would be really cute for the girls if the hair is long enough to do that.
