Bosco Pup | Rachel Ezzo Portraits, Puppy First Birthday Cake Smash Session, Baton Rouge LA photographer

Our goodest, goodest boy just tuned one!

Our sweet Bosco pup, came home to us back in July. We rescued him through Take Paws Rescue, here in Baton Rouge. My makeup artist Courtney is always working in the rescue community and she sent me his photo. They rescued him from a kill shelter in New Orleans and as soon as I saw his little face, I text my hubby. I was actually home in NY, visiting family and my husband was going to have to get him if he agreed. Well, needless to say we all fell in love with his little face, and he is the most spoiled pup around!

He has the best personality. He is quirky and funny, and the most egocentric little thing I ever did see. If you hug someone else in the family or love on our other dog, he runs right over and inserts himself in the middle of you and makes sure he breaks it up. His love tank is never full he always wants more attention. Rotten to the core.

If you are prepping something in the kitchen he comes and sits at your feet with that little begging face and puppy eyes like these first two photos and waits patiently for his share. I was never a dog person like I am with this baby. He has us all wrapped around that little paw pictured below.

He is a Jack Russell and has a wiry coat so he always looks like a little hood rat. I love that about him, he looks undone all the time and it matches his personality.

After he had cake and played for a bit he got sleepy and I couldn’t resist taking a few of him like I would a newborn. A good belly rub made him drift off to sleep. That is what you get when mom is a professional newborn photographer/ baby whisperer and we are in quarantine. I have to photograph something cute!

You all stay safe and I hope this bring a smile to your face at a very weird time in history!

Happy Birthday Bosco Man!
