Milk Bath Milestone Session | Walker Milestone Session, Rachel Ezzo Fine Art Photographer, Baton Rouge, LA

This milk bath session is the first one I have ever done! I cant believe that after almost 9 years in business I have not done one until now! I have done a ton of milestone sessions before, but never one like this.

Here is how I did it and some things I found helpful!

I got my florals from Trader Joes! They have a beautiful collection of florals and at very reasonable prices!

I used eucalyptus branches, baby’s breath and these outstanding muted roses that I never knew I needed in my life. I placed those in an arrangement around my bath and loved how it turned out.

I also used rice milk instead of real milk for a few reasons. First, I wanted something that if splashed wouldn’t smell as it dried like milk could. The rice milk also was more pure white than milk and I wanted that to show in my photos. The milk would have looked gray and not white.

I used petals from the extra flowers to sprinkle around my setting and that was it. Fairly simple, and took my maybe 15 minutes total.
